AAC technology is well protected by US and international patents, which are owned by the University of Arkansas. The comprehensive patents for this technology in human and other mammalian species have been exclusively licensed to ImmunoBiosciences, Inc., which will offer the AAC technology to health companies in licensing arrangements.

The AAC patent portfolio contains more than 8 issued U.S. patents, 2 in Europe (issued in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the U.K.), and several issued in the ROW (including Australia, Canada, China, Japan, and Korea).
